Trauma for Two – Trauma in Pregnancy

In this Boot Camp session our special guest Lisa Hollett, RN from Penn State-Hershey Medical Center presented on Trauma in Pregnancy. This targeted session will discuss the anatomical and physiological changes in pregnancy and how they both relate and affect the pregnant trauma patient. Lisa will also cover various mechanisms of injury and how they relate to pregnant vs. non-pregnant patients. Other key points in this session are:

•How are pregnant patients different?
•Who is more important mom or baby?
